August 6 marks the 65th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, followed by the bombing of Nagasaki three days later. The 200,000-plus deaths from those attacks, and the perceived need to reduce the number of such weapons, is the focus of an alliance of groups.
