I am forming a paper salmon migration through the postal system to Gordon Campbell's to remove salmon farms from the wild salmon migration routes of British Columbia.
Salmon farms are a serious issue impacting wild salmon. Reason must be brought to this situation.
Wild salmon are the life-blood of the eastern Pacific; a power cord running between sunlight hitting open ocean waters and coastal life of North America. Wild Salmon are of the true economy, causing life to flourish wherever they move.
In violation of the natural laws, salmon farms hold domestic salmon stationary, too near wild rivers and lethally amplify bacteria, viruses and parasites killing the young wild salmon as they emerge from the rivers. Wild salmon are in exceptional decline everywhere; there are salmon farms worldwide. Moving salmon farms off wild salmon migration routes could remedy this, but politics are in the way, threatening the entire coast of British Columbia, Canada. Wild salmon feed the forests, the ecosystem, people and the BC economy.
A migration of paper salmon through the postal system has begun, carrying a message to the man who could prevent this extinction. The Premier of British Columbia, Canada, Gordon Campbell could remove corporate salmon farms from the wild salmon migration arteries with the stroke of pen.
Keep one of the last places on earth that still makes clean air, water and food functioning and send a school of fish on this life-sustaining mission.
Gordon Campbell won’t save wild salmon if one paper fish arrives on his desk, but he would if a million arrived. Somewhere between 1 and 1 million lies the number of paper salmon needed to keep the BC coast alive.
Join me in making a mighty paper salmon migration for the life of the eastern Pacific. Go to http://www.adopt-a-fry.org “THE MIGRATION” for instructions.
People change this world all the time, lets get it right…
